Coffee Production

For many years at Bedford Continental Wholesale we have been expertly buying, blending, roasting and grinding the small humble bean of the coffee cherry to produce a distinctive range of coffees. Our TostaD'oro retail pack can today be found in many delicatessens. Our catering range offers many solutions to coffee bars and caterers throughout the Country together with a wide range of coffee bar accessories.

Blending
We buy the finest beans on the world markets for our blenders to determine the broad character of the finished product. Arabica and Robusta beans are carefully picked over before being skilfully blended according to the style of coffee required for our coffee blends.

Roasting
Once blended, the beans are transferred to our modern, state of the art and highly efficient roasters. A consistency of roast is ensured with accurate temperature controls and optimum roasting times are strictly maintained.

Packaging
Whatever your taste we can produce a coffee to satisfy and, because we produce only fresh coffee to order, you can specify the packaging size from 250g vacuum packs to 1kg or 5kg packs.

Grinding
Investment in the latest machinery guarantees a consistent grade of coffee, fine grind for Espresso or Cappuccino, medium or coarse grind for filters. The final packaging is fully automated and depends solely on our customers' needs.
