The small humble bean of the coffee cherry travels the world and undergoes many processes before being transformed into the 'essential luxury' cherished daily by millions worldwide.

For many years at Bedford Continental Wholesale we have been expertly buying, blending, roasting and grinding these coffee beans to produce a distinctive range of coffees. Blending
We buy the finest beans on the world markets for our blenders to determine the broad character of the finished product. Arabica and Robusta beans are carefully picked over before being skilfully blended according to the style of the coffee required.

Roasting
Once blended, the beans are transferred to our modern and highly efficient roasters. A consistency of roast is ensured with accurate temperature controls and optimum roasting times are strictly maintained.

Grinding
Fresh from the roasters, the beans are cooled and finally sorted to remove any foreign particles. Only then are the beans ready for further processing. Investment in the latest machinery guarantees a consistent grade of coffee, fine grind for Espresso or Cappuccino, medium or coarse grind for filters and cafetières. The final packaging is fully automated and depends solely on our customers' needs.
Packaging
Whatever your taste, at BCW we can produce a coffee to satisfy. Finest quality or economy blend; dark or light; strong or smooth; ground or beans; we can vary the blend, roast and grind to your taste.
And because we produce only fresh coffee to order, you can specify the packaging size and style, from individual 50-113g sachets to 250g vacuum packs, to 1 or 5kg catering packs. Alternatively, instead of one of our brands or blends, you can specify your own brand label and blend. We cater for your individual taste, quantity, pack size and style.
